In this context the Department of International Relations, a vibrant and growing entity of the School of Global Studies (SGS), Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, offers matchless oppournities for higher learning in international political economy, diplomacy, defence studies, diaspora studies etc.

           In Pursuit of excellence in learning, research and engagement with the world of knowledge, the mission of the Department of International Relations is to equip its students with skills essential to transform them into highly competent professionals as well as astute and keen political analysts. A major highlight of the Department is its bi-semester Diplomatic Lecture Series, which is a unique oppournity for students to listen to and interact with renowned diplomats of the world. The Department is headed by Prof (Dr.) John Moolakkattu and the Under Graduate Course in the Capital Centre is headed by Dr. Reinhart Philip.
